Sligo registration number, engraved grooved iron tang, signed flat bevelled lock with stepped tail (signature abused, some pitting), figured walnut full stock (bruised) carved with a shell in relief behind the barrel tang, engraved brass mounts including trigger-guard with acorn finial, vacant escutcheon with a shell above and beneath, engraved pierced ribbon side-plate, and original brass-tipped ramrod with worm, Birmingham proof marks
