Contemporary calf-backed wooden boards (rebacked with old spine relaid, lacking clasps). Provenance: Ferdinand Cortes (18th-century booklabel, according to note below the book was the property of Ferdinand Cortes, discoverer of Mexico); some old Latin manuscript annotations in margins.
