We are grateful to Jan de Maere for confirming the attribution on the basis of photographs. He cites two corresponding versions: one on copper sold at Mercier, Lille, 20 December 1998, lot 282 and a signed picture sold at Christie's, London, 2 May 1980, lot 116.
