Lot Essay

The artist known as The 'Pseudo-Sonjé' was first identified by Dr. Marijke de Kinkelder of the Rijksbureau Kunsthistorische Documentatie, The Hague, who identified a group of approximately 30 pictures by an artist working in the style of Jan Sonjé of Rotterdam.
