Reference 25949IP, also known as the "DOUBLE X" Jules Audemars Chronograph, is inspired by aviation and related pilot watches. At the time of release and with a case measuring 48mm. in diameter, this was the largest wristwatch ever designed by Audemars Piguet. The watch is fitted with a Kevlar strap that is 25mm wide. Its readability is increased through large-size Arabic numerals reinforced with luminous lime-green coating so that they can be easily seen in the dark. The case is made of titanium and platinum. These features all contribute to the success of this model that is particularly sought after. Originally it was designed to be worn by Arnold Schwarzenegger in his film entitled "The 6th Day".
