Mother and Child; A Study

The present work is part of a series of small bronzes depicting the theme of motherhood which were executed by the artist in the early 1900s. Other examples from this series can be found in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Brooklyn Museum and The Cincinnati Art Museum.
