An original drawing for Little Lord Fauntleroy (1886): "The workmen liked to see him stand among them, talking away, with his hands in his pockets." Vignette, Chapter X, p. 144 (New York 1886 edition), with a large opening initial T at top which appears in the serial publication and not in the first book edition. The figure of Lord Fauntleroy is evidently revised from an earlier version and is on a small sheet mounted to the main sheet. Black ink with two small areas heightened with white. 377 x 263 mm. (14 7/8 x 10 3/8 in.), on wove paper, removed from backing card, foxed. Signed.
