Lot Essay

From a family of artists, Reichert studied in Graz, Munich and then in Rome with Ludwig Passini and Anton Romako. From 1869-1910 he worked in Vienna and then Graz where he produced prints of the town, notably the Château. The Museum of Baden-Baden has conserved one of his works.
