Engraved title in volume II with arms of Innocent X, engraved arms of Cardinal Mazarin on title of volume I and of Cardinal Bichio on sub-title, numerous woodcut illustrations in the text including the oft-repeated emblem of Innocent X, half-title, with the colophon leaf with woodcut device (top margins at the beginning a little waterstained, a few leaves lightly browned). Contemporary vellum (a trifle soiled).
