Corfield realised that there was demand for a quality medium format camera and undertook market research to determine what features were required. The Corfield 66 was introduced in 1961 and Lewis states that fewer than 300 units were built. The camera had no internal film transport mechanism but was supplied with a RADA rollfilm back with the Corfield name on it. A Lumax 95mm. lens was standard. Sold at £76 the camera was priced at little more than a Rolleicord and less than a Rolleiflex.
