cover 1700-1850(c) entire letters and entires, etc including 1700 with Edinburgh Bishopmark in black, later town namestamps with some distinctive types (Elgin and Stonehaven, etc), a range of town datestamps, penny posts etc., a good range but in very mixed condition. Also 1797 entire letter from St. Christopher to Edinburgh showing a small and very weak "SHIP.LRE" handstamp, apparently for Port Glasgow, on the flap. (90 items)
