A 10½-inch (26.7cm.) diameter terrestrial table lamp globe, made up of twelve colour printed gores laid over a translucent sphere, the equatorial graduated in degrees and hours, the ecliptic graduated in days and degrees and showing the symbols of the houses of the zodiac, the countries coloured and outlined, and showing Israel, the North Pole labelled REACHED NORTH POLE Peary-1909-Sledge Byrd-1926-Airplane Amundsen-1926-Dirigible, the oceans showing the currents, shipping routes and an analemma (small areas of paper lacking), with printed metal hour disc graduated 1-12 twice, mounted at the polar axes through the head and tail of a copperised-metal stylised dolphin with wave-form base, incorporating an electic light fitting, on wooden plinth -- 13in.
