THE MIKE AND SUE RICHARDSON COLLECTION OF MECCANO LTD. DINKY TOY ORIGINAL FACTORY DRAWINGS The following thirty two lots are a collection of Meccano Ltd. General Assembly Drawings for the Dinky Toy range; most drawings are executed in Indian ink on special woven reinforced translucent draughting paper. The preliminary drawings are graphite on waxed translucent wood pulp paper, which has, with time, become dry and fragile. The sizes of the sheets are either 12 inches by 9¾ inches or 28 inches by 19 inches. Condition overall is very good, although some of the preliminary sheets are slightly damaged on the edges. Two previous collections of original Dinky Toy factory drawings were sold at Christie's South Kensington on 14th September 1995 and 27th September 1996.
