C.F.A. Voysey was one of the most noteworthy designers of the Arts and Crafts movement. Trained as an architect he later became a leading designer of wallpaper, textiles and carpets in the late 19th century. Voysey was known for the simplicity and balance of his designs. The present 'Donnemara' design became extremely popular and was executed in various color schemes and sizes, most probably to order.
