Title in English and French and printed in red and black, engraved double-page dedication, 20 double-page maps, hand-coloured in outline, 2 leaves of text and 2 index leaves (title browned and spotted, a few maps very lightly browned, map 7 with small stain in margin). Contemporary half morocco gilt, gilt armorial of Louis-Philippe I, duc d'Orléans on sides [Olivier 2572, cf.fer 9], fleur-de-lys cornerpieces, sides covered with contemporary pink paper, partly torn away on front cover to reveal the arms and border of cover, black morocco lettering-piece (corners worn, extremities lightly worn, rubbed).
