Lot Essay

In 1922, eighty impressions of this print, from the total edition of 125, were included in the portfolio Das Graphische Werk von Egon Schiele. The prints in the portfolio set have a signature stamp on the reverse. As it is absent in the present impression, it is likely that it is one of the 45 which were issued separately.
