Eight Japanese ivory and wood signed netsuke, 19th and 20th Century
the six ivory netsuke variously carved as a figure pushing a Daruma doll; a squatting figure with woven basket; a figure making a hay bundle; a standing man with lamp; two tradesmen painting a large Okame mask; a farmer with a hoe slung over his shoulders; and two wood netsuke depicting a mouse nibbling on vine fruits, inlaid eyes; and twin quail seated upon a woven dustpan -- 2¼in. (5.6cm.) high max. (8)
