EMIN PASHA MEDAL
A Silver five-starred Emin Pasha Relief medal, lettered in the centre Emin Relief Expedition overall diameter 50mm, Birmingham, 18890 together with a large carte-de-viste of Emin Pasha by Moffat of Edinburgh, 170 x 110mm. (light spotting); and a carté-de-viste of Faida Emin, by Franz Kahn (Berlin) inscribed by ?Dorothy Stanley, "Faida Emin, daughter of the late Emin Pasha".
The Emin Pasha Expedition medal was presuambly given to the principal participants and especially made up by MacKinnon, to be given out on their return to England. The signed carte-de-visite of Freda Emin must have been acquired from Emin Pasha's family in Germany.
