Lot Essay

These two gouaches appear to be preparatory studies for multiples. Conde Duque was included with Tomas Llorens’s book on Equipo Crónica, published by Colección Nueva Orbita (see lot 152). The multiple of Infanta, however, appears to have never been realised with Editorial Gustavo Gili.
