Lot Essay

Whilst Duez would often rely on a strong figure as a focal point, in the present work the shoreline itself holds the viewers’ attention. The interrelation between the sand, the sunset, it's reflection in the sea and is explored through his luminescent palette which integrates all three and evokes the changing light.
