The two-towered building in the upper sketch of this drawing appears, from the same viewpoint though slightly further away, in a watercolour by Delacroix today in the Musée de la ville de Poitiers et de la société des Antiquaires de l'Ouest, Poitiers (A. Sérullaz, in Delacroix: le voyage au Maroc, exhib. cat., Paris, L'Institut du Monde Arabe, 1994-95, no. 38, ill.).
