Tang Dynasty
the saddled horses standing four square on rectangular bases with their heads slightly raised, one lady seated wearing a long tunic and a high hat, the other three with their hair pulled up into high chignons and with one arm held to their chests, variously decorated in white, red, yellow, green and black pigments -- 14¼in. (36.2cm.) high max, (old wear).
