Lot Essay

F.P. Journe contributes to the tradition and craftsmanship of fine watchmaking by combining a remontoir with a tourbillon watch escapment in the Tourbillon Souverain. The remontoir is a secondary spring providing a constant force to the balance. This device maintains an equal rate of force whether the watch is fully wound or not.
