With brass and steel keywound and keyset lever movement, the white dial with Arabic numerals, blued steel moon-style hands, the silver and tortoiseshell gothic-style case with silver-mounted fretwork, together with original fitted travel box and key, dial signed by retailer, movement numbered 4172

This clock was a wedding gift to President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt from Miss Quincy. It is listed as #9 in Eleanor Roosevelt's hand in her wedding present book, which is on permanent display at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library. They were married March 17, 1905.
