[between 1894 and 1907]. 12 1/4 pages, 8vo, in ink on rectos of lined sheets, a fair copy with just a couple of corrections, fold creases, inscribed and signed by Fuller (with pseudonym) in pencil and ink at top of first page: "pp. 13. Circa 1650 words. Harley R. Fulton, Gen. P.O. Chicago. Stamps encld." An apparently unpublished story "of a prima donna who rids herself of a threatening understudy by allowing her to fail, the risk being that she might have succeeded" -- Constance M. Griffin, Henry Blake Fuller (Philadelphia: University of Pennsylvania Press, 1939), p. 108 (recording this and another manuscript of this story).
