"General Pollocks Camp at Kowulsur", 1842 (9 June) entire letter headed "General Pollocks Camp at Jellalabad" and 1842 (17 Dec.) entire and part letter headed "General Pollocks Camp and Gunda Song Wala", all ex. the "Riddell" correspondence (Nos. 40, 69 and 129), the first two showing boxed "LOODIANA/Bearing" and "L.P.O." (exchange P.O.) handstamp, the other without postal markings. The letters make reference to troop movements and some actions, but deal mainly with non-military matters. An interesting trio written from different locations.
