Lot Essay

We are grateful to Professors Nicola Spinosa and Riccardo Lattuada for independently confirming the attribution to Gennaro Greco on inspection of the originals. The former notes strong affinities with a set of four small paintings in the Museo Nazionale di Capodimonte, Naples, currently on view in the Museo Duca di Martina, also in Naples.
