PROPERTY FROM THE COLLECTION OF THE LATE NORMAN HALL
The following 45 lots are from the extensive collection constituted by the distinguished and influential picture editor Norman Hall. This selection follows the successful presentation of works on the 21st May 2010, 26th November 2010 and 2nd November 2011.
Hall played a significant role in raising awareness in Britain of the power of the photographic medium through his work on Photography Magazine, then as editor of Photography Year Book between 1954 and 1963, and later as picture editor at The Times.
