Lot Essay

Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Coarding was taught by Hans Hofmann in New York. A soldier in Europe during W.W. II he settled in Paris after 1945 and participated in several group-exhibitions of the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles in Paris.
