Frederick I (1754-1816), King of Württemberg 1806-1816, in blue uniform with black and silver facings, silver epaulettes, powdered hair en queue, wearing the red moiré sash and breast-star of the Order of the Württemberg Crown and the badge of the Royal Württemberg Order of Military Merit
on ivory
oval, 2 7/16 in. (63 mm.) high, gilt-metal mount within rectangular ebonised wood frame with fleur-de-lys finial

Frederick I, son of Frederick Eugene of Württemberg and Frederica of Brandenburg-Schwedt, married Augusta of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (1764-1788) in 1780 and secondly in 1797 Charlotte Mathilda of Hanover (1766-1828), eldest daughter of King George III and Queen Charlotte of Great Britain and Ireland.
