The box with mahogany inlaid brass handles and inlaid with brass and amaranth to the corners, with an engraved brass presentation plaque to front ‘JANUARY 1981 Love/ Francis and Barbara’, the inside to top with an additional plaque ‘GOOD MORNING/ MR. PRESIDENT’, the chronometer with 3 ½ in. white enamel dial, Roman hours and blued steel hands, signed ‘TIFFANY & CO.’ and ‘QUARTZ’, the back cover to the quartz movement also stamped ‘TIFFANY & Co.’ and ‘SWISS MADE’, set within a gimballed brass bowl
