Dream Days executed in 1939, is the last sculpture made by the artist after she moved back to Philadelphia. Frishmuth was quite fond of the present model, stating: '...I had a feeling I would like to try a new way of looking at a form. I wanted the lines to flow smoothly from one end of the figure to the other...Daydreams [sic] is a sculptor's sculpture; takes a sculptor to really appreciate it. And personally, I think it is one of the nicest ones that I have done.' (C.N. Aronson, Sculptured Hyacinths, pp. 55-56)
