lithograph in black and orange-red, 1893, on wove paper, the red vibrant, Wittrock's state A (of C), printed by Chaix, with the Republique Française inkstamp, the full sheet (printed to two sides), one central vertical fold and three horizontal folds (with a few associated touched-in paper losses), a ¼-in. backed split in the hat, a 5½-in. crease across the lower left corner, a few soft handling creases, a pale stain to the right of the right foot, otherwise in good condition, laid down to linen, framed
