Watts, published London, 1 February, 1777, 275 x 145 mm., very mild foxing lightly affecting image area, but otherwise quite fresh. -- The Landing at Tanna one of the New Hebrides, engraved by L.K. Sherwin, London, 1 February, 1777, 275 x 150 mm., mild toning on the borders, moderate on the verso. -- The Landing at Erramanga one of the New Hebrides, engraved by J.K. Sherwin, London, 1 February, 1777, 265 x 150 mm., scaterred foxing along the borders. William Hodges accompanied Cook on his Second Voyage and produced some of the most striking and beautifully accomplished paintings of the entire odyssey.  These three engravings are particularly fine examples of his work and in addition to the natural and peaceful majesty of 18th century Tahiti, include dramatic, exceptionally colored renderings of
