Title within ornamental woodcut border, with the first blank. (Some margins cropped but not affecting text, small ink stain in a few margins, occasional very light browning). 18th-century calf gilt, spine ruled and lettered in gilt, contrasting lettering-piece (extremities lightly rubbed). Provenance: some corrections in ink in an old hand; L.A. Burd (bookplate). FIRST EDITION. Wing H-2789.
