Lot Essay

A painter of landscapes and architecture, Carabain was a pupil of Doyer and V. Bing at the Amsterdam Academy. His travels took him to France, Germany, Italy and Austria, but he settled in Belgium. His works have been conserved in the Ypres Museum and the Rudolfinum Museum in Prague.
