The gilt-finished movement wound by changes in the air pressure, the dial with engraved black Roman numerals and fleur de lys on raised gilt chapter ring, gilt moon-style hands, aperture to view the pendulum, in rectangular gilt case, the front and sides with faux wood imitation under glazed panels, small glazed aperture for the water level in the base, two milled knobs for the regulator adjustment in the sides, balance locking lever underneath the base, case, dial and movement signed
