The following two lots and lots 284, 286, 287, 361 and 375 comprise photographs by Jim Marshall - frequently described as The Rock & Roll photographer with a talent for capturing the essence of the artist, moment and music. In the late 1960s at his peak Marshall earned over $60,000 a year and his work appeared in 'Rolling Stone', 'Life' and 'Newsweek' and on approximately 600 L.P. covers - his photographs have rarely been since the late 1960s.
