This card was given to Aage Rosendahl, a Danish teacher whom John and Yoko first encountered when they visited Kyoko and Tony Cox in Denmark, January, 1970. Rosendahl was the founder of a Danish folk high school called the 0ew Experimental College in Skyum, North Jutland. The Danish Folk High School Movement was founded in the latter part of the nineteenth century on the principle that, instead of tests and exams, pupils develop to their full potential through lectures, talks, discussions and practical experimentation. Apparently, this philosophy fascinated Lennon and Ono - they met Rosendahl frequently on both sides of the Atlantic and thus formed a friendship that lasted many years.
