CONRAD'S COPY of Kipling's celebrated collection of verse. First published in 1896, the volume is divided into two sections, "The Seven Seas", a collection of maritime poems, and "Barrack Room Ballads", the former having an obvious appeal for Conrad as an ex-seaman. cf. Stewart p. 136.
