Color woodcuts: two prints, comprising a triple half-length portrait of three beauties showing each other unrolled sheets of inscribed paper, signed [Uta]maro hitsu and published by Enshuya Matabei; and a bust portrait of a beauty sipping from a stemmed goblet (giyaman), from the series Meisho koshikake hakkei (Eight views of tea stalls in famous places), signed Utamaro hitsu and published by Ezakiya Kichibei--moderately good impressions, faded and worn, first trimmed into image at bottom, second with rubbed signature and restored along both vertical edges
