L'ANGLOIS, François. A collection of 7 plates from Livre de Fleurs. [Paris: Jean Le Clerc, 1620.]
7 engraved plates (c.190 x c.245mm) mounted in an album, oblong 2° (280 x 370mm). (Some small repairs.) 20th-century printed paper-covered boards, morocco label lettered in gilt on the upper side (edges lightly darkened). Provenance: A.H. Bright (bookplate, tipped-in ALS from Joseph Jacob discussing the book).
A group of engravings of tulips from L'Anglois's rare Livre de Fleurs: AE and ABPC record only one copy of the book at auction. Nissen BBI 1137.
