Basel: Hieronymus Curio, March 1557. 2 parts in one volume, 2° (296 x 181mm). Woodcut device on title and at end of each part, a few woodcut initials (lower fore-corner of title repaired with no loss, top margins cut close affecting some headlines, title somewhat browned and soiled, a few stains and waterstains). Late 17th-century mottled calf (rebacked, rubbed). Provenance: Jonathan Birch, 1733 (long inscription on an endpaper in which he states that he refused an offer of four guineas for the book) - Repton School (book-label). Not in Adams or BMC.
CONSTANTINUS, Robertus. Lexicon Graecolatinum. [Geneva]: heirs of E. Vignon and J. Stoer, 1592. Bound in 2 volumes, 2° (350 x 211mm). Title printed in red and black with woodcut device (vol. I rather waterstained at beginning and end and lacks final blank). Late 18th-century russia, gilt crest in panels of spine, double line border round sides (hinges worn). Provenance: unidentified armorial bookplate with motto 'avancez' - L.A. Burd (armorial bookplate). Adams B3148 (under Budaeus).
