Cal. 290 nickel-finished lever movement, 24 jewels, black dial, baton and Arabic numerals with luminous accents, luminous hands, sweep centre seconds, revolving inner black bezel calibrated for 60 units, large circular water-resistant-type case, screw back centred by the emblem of a diver holding a harpoon, large button for inner revolving bezel and large winding crown at four o'clock in the band, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

According to the Archives of Montres Longines Francillon SA, the present watch was delivered to Ditta I. Binda SpA, the company's agent in Milan, Italy, on 15 November 1965.

A similar model, though a ref. 7150-1, is illustrated in Longines Watches by John Goldberger, pp. 298 & 299.
