etching with hand-coloring in brown, 1953-5, on laid Arches, a rich impression, signed in pencil, inscribed '"In the Forest"' and 'proof', an early proof presumably printed at Atelier 17 (Baro records an incomplete edition of 20 printed in 1965-6, at the Hollander Graphic Workshop), with wide margins, several small splits (one backed) and unobtrusive surface scrapes in the image, mat staining, glued to the overmat along the top margin edge, remains of old glue along the reverse of the other margin edges, staining on the reverse, framed
