NABBES, Thomas (?1605-?1645). Hannibal and Scipio. An historicall tragedy. Acted in the yeare 1635 by the Queenes Majesties Servants, at their private house in Drury Lane, London: printed by Richard Oulton for Charles Greene, 1637.
4° (185 x 133mm.), with the final blank (upper inner gutter of title stained, repaired in A2, first and last two gatherings quite spotted and lightly browned, otherwise just occasional light spotting), mid 19th-century straight-grained green morocco gilt, inner panel with cornerpieces and central motif of four acorns, flat spine lettered in gilt (spine very slightly discoloured, extremities quite rubbed).
FIRST EDITION. Hannibal and Scipio, a tragedy in five acts, was modelled upon Marston's Sophonisba. Pforzheimer 755; STC 18341.
