A standing female figure, holding a fan in her right hand

A preparatory study for the woman in the centre background of Lancret's painting La fête en plein air (G. Wildenstein, Lancret, Paris, 1924, no. 334). Another drawing for the same figure was sold at Sotheby's, New York, 30 April 1982, lot 51.
