cf. Miklos von Bartha et al., Constellations, An Alternative Galaxy, Glass by Michael Glancy, 1995, p. 132 for an illustration of Golden Nucleic Fusion, 1990, presently located in New York City; pp. 142-143 for an illustration of Arete-The Virtue, 1991, made for the Centre International d'Art Comtemporaine at Château Beychevelle and exhibited in Bordeaux and Paris; and p. 181 for an illlustration of Tevatron Fusion, 1995, belonging to a private foundation in Switzerland. Nucleic Genesis and these works relate to one another in scale and intent. Only Golden Nucleic Fusion is of the same size as the lot offered here; the other works are approximately half their height.
