Lot Essay

According to the Archives of the Omega Museum, the movement and case of the present watch were not born together. The movement was manufactured in 1959.

Various examples of the Constellation Calendar model, including period advertisements, are described and illustrated in Marco Richon's Omega - A Journey Through Time, pp. 365-367.
