Pang Dao (B. 1934) is the daughter of Pang Xunqin and the sister of Pang Jiun. All three works were gifted directly from the artists by the collector.

The owner of this private collection had acclaimed a diverse collection of classical and modern Chinese paintings over the past century. Most of the Chinese modern paintings were acquired directly from the artist, while the classical paintings were acquired during the first half of the 20th century.
